In the spirit of sharing our successes and learning to boast a bit about our accomplishements, I wanted to share with you that I was notified that I will be receiving the Women in Agronomy, Crops, Soils and Environmental Sciences Mentoring Award presented annually by the American Society of Agronomy, the Crop Science Society of America and the Soil Science Society of America to an individual selected from a national search. The award honors a society member for outstanding mentoring efforts aimed at advancing women in science and will be presented at the National ASA-CCSA-SSSA meeting in Long Beach California in November.

You will be recognized during the 2014 Annual Meeting in Long Beach, CA at all three breakfasts (receiving complimentary breakfast tickets to all three), plus you will be recognized at the Women in Agronomy, Crop, Soil, and Environmental Science Societies Luncheon on Tuesday, Nov. 4 (receiving a complimentary luncheon ticket).

ASA Breakfast, Awards, and Plenary (York Lecture) on Wednesday, Nov. 5 beginning at 7:00am at the Hyatt, Regency Ballroom ABC (third level). 

 

You will be recognized in CSA News and other venues, including a poster display at the Annual Meeting.
