UWHEN Board members: In the spirit of sharing our successes and learning to boast a bit about our accomplishements, I wanted to share with you that I was notified that I will be receiving the Women in Agronomy, Crops, Soils and Environmental Sciences Mentoring Award presented annually by the American Society of Agronomy, the Crop Science Society of America and the Soil Science Society of America to an individual selected from a national search. The award honors a society member for outstanding mentoring efforts aimed at advancing women in science and will be presented at the National ASA-CCSA-SSSA meeting in Long Beach California in November.
