Hi all,
It's been a long time since we've met or really collaborated as a full group, no thanks to COVID and my unique interim situation down here at DSU. I've recently been able to step out of the interim CIO role here. Between my own nagging feeling that we need to get the USHE-ISO group moving again and some nudges from others in the group I'm reaching out to you all to gauge next steps.
We're all much more Zoom savvy than we were 18 months ago so I would suggest that we plan to use that tool much more. What are everyone's thoughts on a standing bimonthly (every other month) or quarterly Zoom meeting that we set for a fixed day and time (e.g. third Friday at 10:00 am). We could still plan on a longer in-person meeting maybe once a year at a convenient time and place if desired.
There's a lot of knowledge and experience in this group and demonstrable value in a regular face-to-face virtual or in-person gathering to share and collaborate. Thoughts from you all on how best to proceed?
Thanks,
Andrew
