Was just tipped off to the existence of this by a conversation on the UtahSAINT list.
Might be useful for a collaboration tool for the team on assessments and certainly better than the IRC server I set up. I'll look into it a little more. Anybody had any experience with it?

I've looked at it, but never installed it. Cool product. I am willing to setup/install a box with it if nobody else is jumping to do it.

It does look cool. Solves the security problem of slack while keeping the conveniences like mobile. Maybe we'll use it more.

So I set up a test instance, just for fun... you have to be on the VPN to see it, but you can sign up for a test account with the following link.

Yes. We've been using a hosted slack instance for ~3 years. Great for communicating. The history replay and app make it way more convenient (and more widely adopted) than IRC. I'm pretty interested in jumping on the mattermost instance you threw up to see how it compares feature/usability wise.
Matt

I've not used slack so I have nothing to compare it to, and its as barebones as it comes... I followed the noob install guide to the tee and no more. On Wed, 2016-10-26 at 16:43 -0600, Matt Lorimer wrote:
