Hey, so I have RocketChat stood up to replace mattermost and it's tied to the new LDAP server.

If you haven't put yourself in the new LDAP yet, the instructions below need a slight adjustment for Rocketchat.
sudo smbldap-useradd -a -P -m -G usheteam,kraken -M <your email address> -c <"Your name"> <desired username>
Otherwise, I added email addresses for everyone that was already in.

getent passwd
getent group
and make sure that you show up and have the right groups assigned. Then log out and try:
ssh <new username>@172.18.10.9 - make sure you can log in and get a home directory.
Then try connecting to the Samba share: \172.18.10.9\dump with your new user name and creds. Workgroup/Domain is USAT.
Also, try connecting to the wiki at https://172.18.10.9/doku.php
thekrakenI is integrated with the new directory: try ssh <new username>@172.18.10.16
Finally, the strikegate VPN is also integrated with the new directory.

Next steps - before UofU assessment
Delete old directory once most everyone has made accounts in the new directory. Integrate Kraken][ LDAP integrated RocketChat
